Swellframe is a Wi-Fi-connected E-Ink display that presents weather, conditions and forecast information for your selected locations in a simple, glanceable format.

Designed for surfers, anglers, kitesurfers, windsurfers, sailors, skiers, snowboarders and other outdoor-sport enthusiasts, Swellframe provides relevant information for each supported activity. Depending on the selected sport, this may include wave height, swell direction, swell period, wind conditions, tides, water temperature, fishing conditions, snowfall, mountain conditions and recommended activity windows.

Forecast information is downloaded through Wi-Fi and automatically refreshed throughout the day, allowing users to check upcoming conditions without repeatedly opening a phone, website or weather app.

The device uses a 7.5-inch electronic paper display that remains visible without producing bright screen light. Its low-power display and rechargeable internal lithium-ion battery are designed to provide six months or more of typical use between charges. The device is recharged through its USB-C charging port.

Swellframe is configured through an online onboarding process. Users connect the device to Wi-Fi, select their preferred sport and location, and choose the forecast views they want displayed. Once configured, the device automatically retrieves and displays updated forecast information.
